If it weren't for the FORD sign hanging over the mailbox, you might otherwise think you were passing "BOB's House of Back Alley Cars." There was absolutely no where to park because there were used cards parked everywhere in sight. The dealership itself is really only a dealership by definition. I have worked in every department in a dealership from service porter to sales manager throughout my lifetime and I have never seen a dealership operate with such borderline shady practices and even to go so far as to say an almost callous attitude towards customers.Īs many others who have posted here have made notice of, this dealership seems to pride itself on bait and switch tactics by making promises and misrepresentations over the phone, internet and text when in reality, the truth becomes apparent when you spend your valuable time and arrive at the dealership. ![]() My grandfather was an executive for GM for 30 years. Clearly these were the true reasons that the dash lights had come on, but Pinnacle decided to put a band-aid on it instead of repairing their mess. He also informed us that it would cost $2400 to correctly repair the problems. LET ME REPEAT: THE BRAKE LINE AND THE OIL LINE! The Subaru technician informed us that Pinnacle should have easily found these problems. During the recall repair, the Subaru technician discovered that there was a leak in the brake line and the oil line. We then proceeded to call a local Subaru dealership to have the open recall completed. They assured us that everything was okay and once they "topped off" some fluids, the dashboard lights turned off.Īlthough we were a little hesitant, we decided to keep the car. We were clearly upset and immediately called Pinnacle and took the car back the next day to have their service people look at it. Within hours of us picking up the car, three different dashboard lights illuminated (the check engine light, the brake light and the cruise control light). Although this was an inconvenience, we agreed to that. They informed us that they could not take care of the open recall at Pinnacle, and that we would need to visit a Subaru dealership for that. ![]() The test drive seemed to go okay, and other than the fact that the car had an open recall, it seemed to be a solid purchase. The car is a 2014 Subaru Legacy with 140K miles on it. My wife and I recently bought a used car from Pinnacle for our 16 year old son. FUEL EFFICIENT 29 MPG Hwy/22 MPG City!
